This Christmas card project brought a fresh and engaging visual identity to an industry that typically lacks expressive design. The challenge was to merge the company’s SMD assembly expertise with a festive and localized touch.

After visiting the factory, I gained insight into their daily work and drew inspiration from both their technology and Dutch holiday traditions. I illustrated simplified electronic components alongside festive elements like taai-taai cookies, chocolate letters, and oliebollen, blending cultural warmth with the business’s technical essence. The design also features a minimalistic, cartoon-style illustration of Weert’s iconic church, reinforcing the company’s location and identity.
By combining industry-specific visuals with festive Dutch traditions, this design offered a fresh and engaging brand expression, making the business feel more approachable and memorable.
